Gareth Pugh wins 2008 ANDAM Award

Gareth Pugh has won the 2008 ANDAM award securing the Sunderland-born designer a fantastic 150,000 Euro package which will enable him to develop his label and show in Paris. The award will be given to Gareth on October 3rd 2008. The Central Saint Martin's graduate has shown on-schedule at London Fashion Week five times and wowed the audience at Alternative Fashion Week before making his LFW debut. Gareth secured New Generation sponsorship twice, was named Designer of the Year 2007 at the Elle Style awards and is featured in the acclaimed exhibition Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
