The House of Viktor and Rolf at The Barbican

The first ever major UK exhibition dedicated to the work of Dutch duo Viktor and Rolf is now on at the Barbican Gallery. Head down for a unique insight into the world of these designers with pieces on show spanning from 1992 to the present day including the surreal Bells, with clothe embroidered with hundreds of bells and Russian doll where a model is weighed down by a mighty 70 kilos of couture. Susannah Frankel and Caroline Evans have contributed to a book which accompanies the exhibition (£35) and you can also purchase Viktor and Rolf keepsakes including a specially commissioned scarf from the shop.
