Been waiting for this since that GQ shit came out.
Haven't had a proper read yet but looks great, bit about Helmut Lang, decent Margiela article. Load of Bruce Weber photos, some beautifully shot fashion spreads (including an undercoverish one that is quite odd).
Only initial let down is anothe unreadble typeface being used for article headers, need to sort that out, definitely worth picking up though.

Thanks for the heads up.

It'll be interesting to see what this new Buck magazine will be like - unlike most new men's fashion mags, it's less pretentious and has wide distribution (the same as Arena mag, I hear). MY friend is going to do a shoto with them next week where he gets a pic taken in various location to see what he's wearing every day of the week - a bit like in Men's non-No. Interesting to see a mag go in that direction, rather than copy what Fantastic Man et al are doing with their arty, more sporadically publiches mags.

"Buck" sounds more like something my people should be checking out, it's only slightly less gay than "Stud"

Let me know if anyone sees it

not much in it apart from naked muscle guys with their nobs out. Margiela interview is interesting ( questions and answers) but not much to be gleamed from it.

Just got hold of the first issue.

Too much white space.

6 issues for 6 quid dosen't seem bad! it can't be much worse than this arena homme+ and the gq style

very true but i just paid a fiver for arena + and its crap, and i'm pretty sure i'll still buy the next one which will most likely be crap as well Puzzled i don't quite know what i'm trying to say but £6 dosen't seem like a lot to give it a try

six issues for six quid is definately worth it. it's not that bad, as guffer said, and first issues of new titles are always a bit ropey.
