shrinking leather jacket

I bought a black scissors pre made off ebay, but it was a bit on the large side,,
it was really cheap (£60 shipped to JP!) so couldnt be arsed to send it back, and wasnt much of a gamble if i fucked it up,,

so i ran it under a really hot shower for about 3 mins,,then put it in front of a heater for 10 hours,,
seems to have taken about an inch off the length
and a bit off the shoulders..generally a much better fit..

although the leather has become less supple,,

might have another got to make it a bit tighter too ;P

a good result IMO

just i thought id post it up as a lot of people seem to be selling ones on that dont fit quite right...

you should wear it when you do it next time and set in all the creases etc give it some nice shape

Yeah wouldnt reccomend this, dependant on the skin itself quite a few different things could happen. You were lucky there Jake, it probably wont stay like that for ever though.
