Over Under is ok if you're staying in West Brompton, it's just opposite the Overground station

Whereabouts in the Cotswolds, Hanto? There are some decent outta the way country pubs about but Stow, Bourton 'n Moreton is all a bit touristy.

I went to the Cotswolds last weekend for the first time, can recommend the below -

Kingham Plough
The Fox at Oddington
Old Butchers in Stow

Had planned on going to the Wheatsheaf Inn but didn’t get round to it.

Also went to Daylesford farm on the way there and back, very rah crowd but food was decent.

Bourton on water was really nice, very touristy but worth a visit

Tried yakumama in Todmorden yesterday. Vegan/vegetarian with a South American influence. Decent enough, nothing mind blowing but worth a try for anyone over that way

Burt - We're staying at Cowley Manor and we will probably be doing the parts across from Cheltenham and Cirencester.

We're not far from Oxford, which was on the cards, so will miss that and just do the villages etc.

Cheers Staygold - I've been to Daylesford but that was about a decade ago at least, but would like to revisit. I think the whatsheaf was on the list I looked at so will have a look again.

The Green Dragon's just up the road from the Manor - nice place and food (quite popular); you can walk there from where you're staying.

Coupla rural places that you could drive to - would recommend The Golden Heart at Brimpsfield, Black Horse Inn at Naunton; heard some good things about the Kilkenny at Andoversford (not been there for a while) but that's a bit more mainstream.

Avoid Birdlip, Severn Springs and Nettleton Bottom.

Further west is better IMO

Go the Woolpack in Slad and have a nice walk with lunch at the pub

RIP to the industry.
Nice for boris to ‘advise’ against and not ‘ban’ social gatherings.
Business Insurance policies won’t pay out against an ‘advisory’ measure.

Too busy looking after his pals that invest in insurance companies etc. He’s a complete fucking wanker and totally out of his depth.

Daily Fail, but some decent deals coming up with this Eat Out To Help Out scheme. Some Michelin starred places might be worth a trip!

Went to Joro in Sheffield last week and their measures were very reassuring (food great as always)
