looking to book a christmas lunch for 45-50 (!) people in December in London. is this at all possible? money no issue. went to cinnamon club a couple of years ago in their private dining room. was good

note: doesnt have to be turkey/crap food

Any recommendations for somewhere good quality but relaxed in Soho? Fancy Mexican but reviews for La Bodega are crap

temper is pretty relaxed, bit dark though. Nice Mexican I went a few years ago in Soho called corazon, dunno if it's still there though.

Not Soho but if you can get along to Barbary in Neals Yard I would definitely recommend it. If you book early enough you can get a reservation at 5pm on the dot. Place is very intimate and diners are sat in a u shape around the bar and kitchen. Food is seriously good and the service is brilliant.

+1 on the barbary, I think they also do 12pm lunch reservations too.

Place I mentioned above would be perfect. There’s also the seven dials market which has some food concession stalls and a bar with some nice local beers and cocktails etc. there’s also the traditional Ivy nearby or the Ivy Market grill. Sushi samba is also at Covent Garden if that’s your thing. Balthazar nearby also. Can’t beat hawksmoor either tbf.

If you want a dedicated 'pre-theatre' menu I always considered Quo Vadis good value.
