Gents, I'm happy to answer anything. But you need to: (1) ask a properly worded question that makes sense and I can understand. (2) not be a jerk to me, I'm not going to reply to people who are dicks. (3) ask an actual question and not just say something like: "Ted you are such a loser and the site is shit now why is that?" because how exactly do you want me to answer that.

I appreciate the offer. But I don't know who you are. I don't know your experience. I don't know if you really mean that. I don't know if you're any good. Again, I appreciate the offer, but we do already have developers working on this too.

Lol this feels like how the conservative party must have been days leading up to Boris resignation.

I'm not being funny but it doesn't seem like anyone is 'working' on the site - to implement the most recent change that entailed weeks of 'here it comes guys, any minute now' should be pretty trivial for even a junior dev to do in an afternoon. I'd also be amazed if there was more than one person working on this.

Either the code is such a mess that it takes someone weeks figuring out how to add a new text box (unlikely) or the dev you have hired has no idea what they're doing, or they're stringing you along.

Like I said, I don't work with python, but I'm happy to take a look. I mainly want to find the infuriating bug that makes it take about 10 seconds to load each page on the site😂

I don't want/need access to any servers etc, you could just copy the relevant files (I'm assuming they're not hosted somewhere like github already) and send them over to me.

Dm me an email if you would like some free help, I'm in it purely for selfish reasons which is to try and make the site bearable again. As I'll just be reading the code I can make some suggestions and you can then decide what to do.

Me too. Listen I think we're going to switch back to the original text editor next week. It might cause some disruption to posts made on the current text editor but I think we can sort them out once live.

After that I want to look at the errors on PMs some people are getting .

He did say photos uploaded during the new textbox wouldn't work.
And yes, fully agree on the adverts.

The adverts are targeting to you, depending on your browsing habits…
