We were ordering uniform at work and one of the guys didn’t know his own shoe size. Thought that was pretty nan kid.

Or maybe a true sneakerhead knowing his shoe size across a multitude of different brands but not that uniforms one.

Went to the expert(Andy) and he says they're still pony, I can't be walking around with those greying lenses. What ones has he got??

no idea. i only know because he bought a new pair and forgot to spec "fast transition" when ordering and he says they take 10 minutes to adjust which sucks

Even the fast transition lenses are slow enough to make them impractical in a lot of situations. You're looking at 15 to 30 seconds to go fully dark, but more critically it's typically between 5 and 10 minutes for them to return to fully clear after you've gone somewhere darker.

Also nothing to do with speed but just a comment on transition lenses generally when you're in "in between" light conditions they can be quite annoying. When conditions are light enough for the lenses to go partially dark but conditions are "dark" enough that you don't want them to.
