Oh really? I hadn't noticed. I saw they now ship to the UK from the site.
Just read this on BoF.
In January, LVMH Luxury Ventures, the French conglomerate’s arm for investing in smaller brands, took a minority stake in Aimé Leon Dore for an undisclosed sum.

Anyone used tres bien London in-store delivery option? Wonder how it works with taxes?

Where does Aime leon Dore EU ship from now? Is it coming from US and is there customs to pay etc?

They ship via DHL from Europe and no customs fees. But - they can take quite a long time to dispatch.

Thanks for the info d-low. My order still isn't dispatched and it's been so long the stuff I ordered went to 70% off. I know some stuff comes from warehouses in other countries but I haven't been given a straight answer for the delays from support.

Anyone sell on Marrkt? I’ve done it a few times now but it’s getting a total scam with their fees surprised people send their items to them.
They now take £2 fuel consumption fee per item and I didn’t realise there is a minimum fee of £25 per item. If they sell an item for you at £50 you’ll get £23.
It’s crazy how fast items sell on it though they have such a good reach. I’ve had real mccoys shirts on eBay for months at £80 not selling and send to them and they list it for £140 and it sells instantly same with £150 Visvim boots on eBay then I send to them they list for £250 don’t get how those folk didn’t see the item on eBay for a better deal.

Part of the draw with Marrkt is returns. I’ll happily pay 30-40% more for something if I can easily return it if it’s no good.

Haha. Even then ebay is a fucking faff for returns. Even if a seller offered returns I’d still rather pay a bit more of buy from Marrkt!

Buying is ok. Just saying it’s mental if you sell something for £60 on it you only get £33. Almost 50% fees.

Have you tried Marrkt returns though? Your order goes into a queue for refunding - because they have to wait for money to come in from new sales to cover it? - and I was waiting for over two weeks from when they received it. I had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back.

I think its the no hassle approach to shopping internationally too. Buying second hand stuff across borders if a faff if you don't use proxies and or want to haggle with people on grailed who are nervous about shipping out of their own country.
Plus you can also haggle on marrkt too. They just ask the seller directly and let you know. Got 25% off the Skagways I bought from them that way!
