NBs go pretty well with looser cut trews. Agreed some look like shite but same for any brand.

Teddy doesn’t miss. Don’t know who else is putting out consistently such string releases. Whether you’re into NB or not, the colour blocking and material choice is head and shoulders above any of the competitors

Loving the shorts.

Is there anywhere in London that sells them in store? Or is it an online job only?

I don’t think anywhere in the UK or Europe stock ALD anymore. They do ship to the UK from their website. Shipping is about £15 though or was the last time I ordered

ALD have a newly opened store in London, Soho. Bound to stock them in there.

Pretty sure 74 picked them up at the new London store, although he can confirm. Hoping to hit up the store in the next couple of weeks. Like Nige says, it looks great.

Yeah I picked them up from the London store, it's really close to End off Carnaby, it's got a nice cafe too.
As for the shorts, I'm a 34 waist and large are spot on on me.

I wasn’t aware of the London store opening, although it Seems like they’ve taken the decision to sell only through their own stores and website

Made in Italy Diadora beaters that I found in the attic earlier. Underrated model. (Don't peep the carpet—too hot to hoover)

The store is great, minus the store rep walking around wafting incense. Really like the interiors and suits the brand well. Shame they only sell direct now, as its like Kith withe import duties and shipping, but you can get other bits elsewhere, like the Woolrich collab. Plus the collab that would have been US only before are easier.

What's the quality like 9f those shorts? Look good but not sure they'll suit me at 6'2".

I've always been tempted to try out some of those more premium diadoras. The made in Germany hummels as well.

Some summer sale bangers for me. Can't remember but I believe I paid 50 bucks for the pair.

Quality on the Made in Italy diadora's has always been incredible. Really nice suedes and leathers, built like tanks. So many nice collabs on the 7000, 8000, 9000 came out a few years back. But the GRs were way beyond the quality of GRs from anyone else. Bit of a sleeper brand I guess. Still need all the Pattas and the Raekwon Purple Tapes.

I really like it when slightly obscure brands have a year or so of being highly visible due to collabs but then disappear again. Le Coq had a belter of a streak with some really sweet collabs with Foot Patrol et al.
