Definitely go Explorer. I've got the Explorer in 39mm (present from my wife) and love it but reckon I'd love it even more in 36mm. There's something about the 39 that's slightly niggly to me. I think it's that to me the Oyster case is better on a 36 than a 39.

Rolex explorer 36mm would be my choice for a one watch collection.

I think so too. The Garmin definitely is my sport/tech flex. Laughing out loud

Is there much difference do we know between the new 36mm and the pre 39mm version?

10 pineapples, 3 rimjobs, and retail. great watch and would suit your get ups. grand seiko also topper top, arguably more interesting, and would remove a lot of the hassle that comes with getting a roley + again a great fit for u.

until trying this on in person i didn't know how much i loved it, haven't taken it off.

Yeah i watched that one. I like the fact that there is no reflection on the new one. Need to go and try one on and then just lump resale prices.

My AD said 4-20 years waiting list and they aren't taking any more. Tudor was easier, possible 6 months. Laughing out loud

Lovely Santos. Also didn't realize till recent that you can get the tank on a bracelet too. Really like it like that

Liked the idea of getting a gold Tank but even the L size looks so dainty on my wrist. There is an XL but only in stainless steel

The santos Dumont comes in XL in rose gold too, compared to other brands it’s a decent price for a gold watch. Was looking at one myself but ended up going for the stainless steel, should arrive this morning.

Get a 1016 Hanto - may as well do it properly. Grail watch for me but won't be happening.

Yeah shift some Visvim and JMM pieces. Much better using your money for something you can wear and appreciate every single day. No one needs 15 pairs of £600 sunglasses in the U.K. Laughing out loud

I like it but it’s not my style. I think I’m going to get the XL tank in steel. Going to try on the rose gold in L one more time to make up my mind
