Couldn't find any threads so started one

playing a few records over in york this Sunday, late afternoon, wouldn't mind getting to a few shops earlier on. any recommendations?

As above, really - just Coggles. There's a Van Mildert too, but can't remember it stocking anything decent.

There's a couple of OK record shops in York though: Rebound on Gillygate, and one upstairs near Swinegate. Not sure if they'd be open on a Sunday though.

If you can be arsed going to the outlet on the A64 there is a Kooples shop there if that floats your boat.

As said not much in the city center,on the same road (Petergate) as Coggles there is a Barbour shop,Mannix sells Boss,Barbour,Armani.At the end of Stonegate is Van Mildert which sells S.I.CP Company,Belstaff,Boss.

Urban Outfitters opened the back end of last year aswell

be prepared to que with the japs for the main bettys. m howell in the outlet is worth a check too
